Once upon a long time ago a company loaded up a super-resolution camera, took it up to about 10k' over Oshkosh at its busiest, and then sold large prints (about 18x30" or a standard size near that) of the entire venue, airplanes campers and all. I can't find the company or anybody else selling ones of 2015. Anybody got a lead on where they are? Or what happened to them?

Jim

I must be missing something. There were a couple of aerial shots of the ground, but none of them I saw were of the whole EAA complex, from the North 40 to the ultralight area in one shot.

Thanks,

Jim

HEY! What about those of us in the SOUTH 40?!? There is a lot of parking south of the Ultralight Park.

:D

Who wants to see a bunch of ratty old taildraggers anyway?

And the amphibs.

I suspect the interest is waning because DigitalGlobe and the other satellite companies shoot nice sub-meter shots and they become available in Google and other outlets.

Garrett Nieven and I sat down and made a KMZ file with the actual row numbers to make the parking planning easier.

Google maps had a view at certain detailed zoom levels. But my most recent check didn't have the air show view of KOSH, just regular. Digital Globe does quarterly updates, but it seems like a long shot that they would schedule a run for an air show.
