Oregon Aero Soft Seal Ear Cushions for Bose Avaition X

My Bose Avaiation X headset is showing its age, its about 4 years old now and have probably flown over 1000 hours since getting it. Its got the original earcups (which I dislike because they are too cramped) that are falling apart. I ordered the Oregon Aero Soft Seal ear cushions which are supposed to provide more room and a better seal.

What I want to know is.... have any of you used these ear seals and how did they perform?

Yes. I installed them on my Bose at the Arlington Airshow.

I find them to be a big improvement.

It's my experience that every product Oregon Aero makes is high quality stuff. My hangar mate has their headband and ear cushions on a set of old legacy DC clone headsets and loves them.

They degrade your ANR a bit but they are more comfortable. If you fly a loud airplane you will notice it more.
