Just got back from CDM Summit 2009 (http://www.faa.gov/about/office_org/headquarters_offices/ato/artcc/chicago/). Of import to GA pilots is that they're bringing back the Operation Raincheck. It will be offered the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays of the month, starting in April. It will be about 3 hours, involving some "ATC 101" up front, followed by about an hour plugged in with the controllers, followed by a wrapup. Both TRACON (C90) and Center (ZAU) will be involved. It will count for 2 FAA Wings units. Scheduling will be accomplished either through the above website or the FSDO. They can accomodate 16 - 18 pilots in each group.

Also, if you're interested in a tour or visit of C90 (Chicago Approach/Departure/TRACON), you can call the training manager there to arrange one. I have the phone number if you're intrested. Just PM me.

I'll even call Kent to let him know I'm flying down for that :-)
