Good reminder, thanks for posting! I bought myself a nice Chateauneuf de Pape on a roadtrip last year and stashed it away for a rainy day. Time to get it out!

I also have a 2000 Premier Cru Chablis I bought in 2002, always meaning to break it out - anybody have any idea whether it's still drinkable? It's been properly stored but I don't know how long a Chablis should be stored. It wasn't terribly expensive - about $30 in 2002 I think - but I always wonder if I should drink it or save it. It has some sentimental value because it's tied to a family event. I could look it up but that would require me to peel myself away from the flying forums.
