I made my first money flying last weekend, I did 1.4 dual instruction with my first real student. It's gonna take a while before I am even, lol. I have 2 new private stu's starting next week and the one from Saturday is working on the comm. Not getting rich flying, but loving every minute! Good thing I have a day job

Do you really need all that to be a CFI? I don't have my FAR's here, but IR - no. Comm - ?

Actually the only guy I know who's made a lot of money in Aviation is Steven F. Udvar-Hazy, and he gave a ton of it away to the Smithsonian for the new Air and Space Museum.
