One Week Wonder 2022 - Sonex Waiex

Good news for anyone who wants to do a little bit of airplane building: One Week Wonder is back for Airventure 2022, featuring the Sonex Waiex. I volunteered for a half day on the RV-12 One Week Wonder in 2018 and it was fun, although people from Van's might tell you that their frantic experience was less fun.

If Sonex is taking volunteers, my advice is to volunteer early in the week. My contributions by Friday afternoon in 2018 were pretty minimal, focused on getting the anti-servo tab aligned, and I wished I had been there on maybe Tuesday or Wednesday.

If you gave me one I'd fly it, but I would not buy one.
