Here is an e-mail I received from them:
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
THE "ONE SIX RIGHT" DVD RELEASE IS LESS THAN 6 WEEKS AWAY - AND THE FILM
WILL PLAY FOR 3 DAYS ONLY IN HIGH DEFINITION IN DENVER, COLORADO, STARTING
THURSDAY OCTOBER 20TH (details below)!

The long awaited DVD release of "One Six Right" is now just around the
corner - it will be available for purchase at the end of November and will
ship the first week of December in time for the holidays.

In addition to the DVD, two other items will be available: the Motion
Picture Soundtrack with 65 minutes of music from the film and the official
27" x 40" movie poster. They all make great holiday gifts, and there will
be discounts for quantity orders (these discounts will be posted on the
website before purchasing).

If you are receiving this e-mail directly from One Six Right, then you have
a confirmed DVD reservation, and are entered to win 1 of 25 DVDs being given
away for free on the day of the release! The winners will be contacted via
e-mail for shipping information.

The only way to buy the DVD, CD, and/or Poster will be on the
www.onesixright.com website unless you are local to the Van Nuys Airport, in
which case it will be available at Hollywood Aviators.

You will receive another e-mail on the day they go on sale (Thanksgiving
week).

PREMIERE IN DENVER, COLORADO - PLAYING THEATRICALLY IN HIGH DEFINITION

The movie is having a first-class premiere in Denver open to the general
public. I will be presenting the film that night, and will host a Q&A after
the screening. Ticket sales from the catered event will benefit the Wings
Over the Rockies Air & Space Museum and the Centennial Airport Foundation.
The film will also play four more traditional showings - two on Friday night
the 21st, and two on Saturday night, the 22nd, all in the same theatre in
Denver.

For more information, location, time, or to purchase tickets, please contact
the event coordinator directly:

I got this email, too. How annoying. I thought this was going to be in movie theatres around the country.

Its playing at the Wildlife Experience!!! That's about a three minute drive for me. I didn't get an invititation either. Guess I'll have to sneak in. :)

The e-mail I pasted didn't mention anything about invitiation only. In fact, it provided information for purchasing tix. Why don't you call the person listed in the e-mail?

It says by invitation only at the top of the page. I looked on the Wildlife Experience website under movies and it is not listed.

I'm looking forward to the release of the DVD. I'd go see it makes its way to the East Coast.

Please review in this space!

Rats - I'm out of town then! I reserved a copy a long time ago and occasionally get update emails regarding the progress of the film, but didn't get the above email note...

I usually get update emails as well, but didn't get this one. So I poked around in my spam filter list and found that for some reason this one had been flagged as spam. Have no clue why.

Wish I was going to be near Denver, I'd like to see this on the big screen.

I was only kidding about the invitation. They must know enough about me to be aware I'm not a huge donor and not a likely candidate to pay $100 to attend something like that. ;)

For those interested, I did e-mail the person listed and her reponse was, in part:

"The showings will be at the Wildlife Experience 720-488-3300, www.thewildlifeexperience.org.

There will be showings on the 21st and the 22nd at the Wildlife Experience at 6:30 and 8:00 but they will need to be contacted for tickets and prices."

I didn't get any further than that. I often drive past the Wildlife Experience and have been meaning to stop in sometime. Never knew there was a movie theater there.

Is that the price of a ticket?

I just made my reservations for 16 Right at the Wildlife Experience. I'll report back after I see it Saturday evening. $6 per ticket as discussed.
