One last float flight of the year...

Last week, before the snow hit, Yes... I said SNOW... We in Interior Alaska. "Fairbanks" have 5 inches already with temps in the low 20s... super!

Anywho... Took a float ride down the Tanana River West of Fairbanks near Minto Lakes... And found this while following the river...

When I used to fly the slope and northwest Alaska I would always be looking for lost boats or fisherman in need of help. When I would see a loose boat I would call the nearest up river village on the marine band and let them know where to look. Happens more than you would think.
