Old NWA Engine Failure Photos

One of guys in the office is also on Facebook in a NWA group of some kind. Apparently these old photos surfaced. Back story, happened in mid 90's, pin that secured the pylon to the pylon mount was not properly torqued and safetied, finally worked itself out. I hadn't seen them before. Kinda breath taking really!

Wow.
 
Eerily reminded me of the AA DC-10 engine that separated on takeoff at ORD and caused a crash that killed all aboard 38 years ago.
