My fiance was convicted of DUI in 2009 and his pilots certification taken at that time. What process does he need to do to obtain his pilots license again? The FAA was notified at the time of conviction.
The FAA does not revoke pilot certificates merely for a single reported DUI. Medical certificates, perhaps, depending on the history and severity of the event, but not pilot certificates. For your fiancé to have had his pilot certificate revoked, there would have to be more history than a single DUI conviction. My fiance was convicted of DUI in 2009 and his pilots certification taken at that time. Did he complete his 61.15 report in time? Or was he late in the report? My fiance was convicted of DUI in 2009 and his pilots certification taken at that time. What process does he need to do to obtain his pilots license again? The FAA was notified at the time of conviction.
