Ol' Blue won't start

Wow. Timing was off, huh? Weird. I wish someone would have mentioned that a long time ago. Oh wait.... ;)

Ol' Blue lives to fight another day!

Now on the the problem in the first place.

The Temp sensor went bad, and it's flooding it's self. Which caused it to not start next morning after yer wife drove it.

truck started up really easy today, timing needed advanced a little but once i got the grime cleaned up off the indicator and figured out which timing light worked it was easy.

Maintance induced failure.
In a car.

Danm Glider Pilots...:goofy:

Glad you got it fixed Tony!

The original failure wasn't maintenance and induced as it was sudden and magical. After that...yeah.

If you really want to know the answer, just look at what changed.

You replaced the rotor, cap, plugs, and wires as I recall. It didn't start afterwards because the wires were in the wrong order, so you moved the timing. Once you straightened those two things out it runs.

So look at the parts you changed or things closely related, you can and should find a cause effect relationship.
