Ohio police chopper camera falls off, smashes cars

Seems pretty clear to me that the camera wasn't "reinstalled" properly.

Post hoc ergo propter hoc, but I think that in this case that is probably the cause.
 
They have like a half dozen choppers in this town. More than New York or LA. Nice to see that the flagging economy hasn't hurt the cops. Sad thing is we approved a tax increase because they said they'd have to lay off cops. I guess it never occurred to anyone to sell a couple choppers.

I thought that phrase referred to confusing cause with effect which I don't see as very relevant here. Or are you saying the real question should be: Why wasn't the camera secured properly?"

I think that in this case probably the cause is Post improper hook up ergo cop copter drop.
