James old thread selling his 310 in 2017.

Got a notification he posted to it 5 hours ago.

And of course, completely normal, if you do try to post to that thread you hit the “thread is too old” limit.

I’m mostly just curious about the notification that he posted on it 5 hours ago. That’s weird.
 
What happens if you use a web browser instead of an app?
It should be possible to post, even if the thread is old (with a "warning" that it is old). Certainly this happens often enough around here!
Could it be app-specific?
 
He posted to the thread, then removed the post, effectively trolling you as a subscriber to the thread :D

Ahh. Those two together explain it.

As far as willfully using web interfaces? Never when I don't have to. They're usually terrible UI design.
