When we shop for airplanes (dreamers we be...), we sometimes see some remarkable, and sometimes, strange, assemblages of avionics.
There are the always-dreaded Terra radios, orphaned and (apparently) not terribly reliable.
But I have seen, only twice, these radios, the "Bendix 2000" series, which look to me like they must have been an attempt to create a unified avionics standard by Bendix, before they decided instead to buy King.
Am I right / wrong / confused?
A quick web search reveals nearly nothing about 'em.
