Our DOM told me they started the engine swap on the plane I fly. I thought he was pulling my leg. This is what I saw:

Since last April, the engine had gotten 4 new jugs, a new fuel controller, a new turbo, many welds on the cross over exhaust, one new mag, 3 sets of spark plugs, and probably a few other things I've forgotten about. All this in about 400 tach hours.

If you remember, several months ago I asked if Cont had a max engine consumption. This engine was down to about 2 hours/qt. I have great faith (misplaced?) in our mechanics but I and they were always annoyed by this engine.
