NWM is raising funds for W7 a flying D-day Veteran of WWII

The National Warplane Museum has started a campaign to take the restoration of W7 to the next level by completing the restoration of the interior. Whiskey 7 dropped paratroopers over Sainte-Mère-Église on D-day, participated in Market Garden and is still flying today at the NWM in Geneseo NY thanks to a dedicated group of volunteers. This is an aircraft that has literally "been there and done that."
