I am wondering if anyone would be willing to interpret my nueropsych eval to let me know what the chances would be of me getting a special issuance. Currently in the holding pattern with the FAA after the results have been sent to them.
Why not just ask your neuropsych to give you this information? That's what they're there for.I am wondering if anyone would be willing to interpret my nueropsych eval to let me know what the chances would be of me getting a special issuance. Yes, I would definitely take his info!Still a crap shoot. Seen the faa disagree with Kay… the guy who developed it.
That being said I can put you in touch with the guy who brilliantly hired Kay to administer it, WEIRD sharp and well versed on the thing.
I did and she said she has no idea what they will decide and it can go with way.Why not just ask your neuropsych to give you this information? That's what they're there for.
After my day of testing, I just flat out asked: "what do you think, doc? Will I get the SI?" He flat out told me "I don't see any reason why you wouldn't, based upon these test results."
Here's a short section from the final report he sent to CAMI:

So why do you think a bunch of randos on the internet will be able to interpret things any differently?I did and she said she has no idea what they will decide and it can go with way.
I didn't get the impression he was asking a bunch of randos to interpret it. Otherwise he would have posted the results. I felt he was looking for someone qualified to answer in a GA context. Not all Neuropsychs are FAA savvy. OTOH, this one was savvy enough to know that she couldn't predict what the FAA might do.So why do you think a bunch of randos on the internet will be able to interpret things any differently?
Yeah, that.Good luck!
