NTSB Warning on sparse ice while on ground

When a lot of the composite designs first became popular even flying in rain was found to disrupt the airflow over the smooth wings to the detriment of their flying qualities, particularly the Q2.
 
Good stuff -- puts well-paid to the old saw about just polishing, not completely removing, the frost before flight. 'Course, I already knew that, having tried it once.
