So let me preface what I'm going to post here by saying I am currently working with a HIMS AME to address a prior deferral / denial and I did a consult with him before I did an exam. I went into the exam knowing it would be deferred but I wanted to get going on the right track. Now I'll explain why I'm really confused.

So before I was deferred/denied because of a couple issues. One was a history of taking ADHD medication with a history of "generalized anxiety". I also had previously been diagnosed with Sleep Apena although I wasn't compliant at all with a CPAP. I decided a few months back I wanted to give this a go now that my personal life has improved and my finances are more stable etc etc. I had my appointment with the HIMS AME and I've already completed my cogscreen with the FAA known psychologist. I currently also have another sleep study scheduled for May 24th to satisfy the FAA on the deferral / Denial from 2013.

So today i got the letter back from the FAA from my HIMS AME exam on March 18th and it says absolutely nothing about a Cogscreen and absolutely nothing about a sleep study and is asking for a bunch of records that don't exist. I've attached a scan of the parts I'm confused about. I no longer take any medication for anxiety and don't take any medication for ADHD. The consensus is that my sleep apnea woke me up in the middle of the night with my heart racing etc and the family medicine doctor i was seeing at the time just slapped with me an anxiety disorder and away i went which then parlayed into me having trouble at a job i hated and a doctor throwing me on Adderall etc.etc.. and again i'm on neither now and fine. So i'm curious if anyone can help me to make sense of this in relation to the prior letter asking for the sleep study & cogscreen. Regardless I'm still doing the sleep study so I can get back on a CPAP and provide the FAA with data if they want it and i've already see the neuropsychologist for the neuropsychological exam.

For a little clarification...i've never been hospitalized for any of this stuff and there isn't much of a file in my doctor's office other than his writing the prescription and i've never been seen by a mental health specialist for any of this stuff outside of the neuropsychologist when i did the CogScreen.

Consider hiring this guy for consult.... http://www.aeromedicaldoc.com/how-to-start.html

I've actually had some conversation with him when i got the whole process started which led me to the HIMS AME I'm using. He was very helpful in getting me pointed in the right direction. I was expecting the FAA to send me a letter pretty much similar to the one from 2013 however it's quite different than that one.
