Couldn't just leave well enough alone and just work on them. Decided to ignore all my rational thinking and throw reason and caution out the window and buy the aircraft. Such a wonderful idea, in just 18 hours of ownership I need a starter, oh joy. Oh I know. Things are going to get worse,,oops, I meant better.
What I've been telling potential partners. If you own a airplane you have to be ready to write big checks. Just how it is.
You guys are right, after a good annual, some modern radios, and some pointers from my pilot friends, this will be wearth every penny,
Some of y’all haven’t pushed a plane, while in 3rd gear, downhill, and popped the clutch. And it shows.
The main reason for the aircraft is my twins, who both have their eyes to the sky. Paying for lessons was kicking me butt, so at least now there cfi is far cheaper and we actually own it. Khloe has 35 hours at age 14, maddox actually likes working on aircraft more then flying. They grew up in the hanger helping me with aircraft.
Cherokee 140? Congrats. You're an A&P but not yet a pilot? I hope you will take lessons too. Awesome adventure ahead!
