Central Illinois that is. Bloomington-Normal. Currently planning on leaving Tucson on Monday and then starting the return trip the following Monday. I'm stopping at OKC for two nights on the way back so that I can attend the FAA class with the altitude chamber.

I tried this trip last year from Phoenix with Woody in his Piper and we made it as far as Kansas City. I'm taking a C182RG this time.

Say, anyone in the Central Illinois have a Jeppesen Skybound USB data card writer I can borrow for 30 minutes later this week? The chart data cycle occurs in a couple of days and I won't be able to carry my club's data writer with me. I'll have my laptop with the software and the subscriber information and I'd like to be able to update the data card in the airplane's Garmin 430.

Image Air at BMI is great. They even let me borrow their JeppDrive so that I could update the GPS data card.

Did the altitude chamber class in OKC today. It was trippy.
