Notifications of Thread Comments

I'm a member of another forum where, if you don't respond to a notification about additional comments to a thread, you will not get any additional notifications until you do check the thread for new comments.

Is this forum set up the same way?

Yes. You only get a notification if someone interacts with your message in some way (ie., ‘likes’ it or replies to it).

If you click ‘follow thread’ than you’ll get notifications every time someone makes a comment on that thread.

Next question -- Is there any way to have notifications sent in a digest form, either daily or weekly, rather than instantaneously?
