NOT a Pretty Way to Land

Smart couple - declined to talk to reporters at the scene. The report actually was not badly done, and thankfully nobody gave any really stupid sensationalist quotes.

True. I guess they mounted the gear on the wrong side of the plane...

I remember back maybe 20 years ago one of the majors had a crash and reported it in their annual report as something like "inadvertant conversion of an aircraft". Maybe this accident is the epitome of that when you convert a low wing to a high wing :rolleyes:
 
Those are the forced landings that actually scare me.

You either screw up badly thus putting yourself in the situation or end up in the situation because of no other choice due to the environment where you have no energy left, no altitude and a game over kind of hill right in your face.
