Anyone know of an interior shop in the Northeast/New England area that can redo some seats?

I had my front seats done at Elegance Aircraft Interiors, Smoketown PA (S37, (717) 823-7135). Some other shops were only interested in full interior upgrades, but these guys were willing to accomodate.

You can get seat padding and covers from Airtex (airtexinteriors.com), or you can have them do the installation at Trenton Mercer, NJ airport (KTTN).

OK, thanks. How long did it take Elegance do to the seats? There is a local mom and pop shop to me that said it is going to take them 2 weeks per seat. That seems really long to me.

In less than a week they did the front seats, the side panels, and pulled, painted, and reinstalled the interior plastic.

Plus S37 is a pretty cool field to land at.

If you don't mind sharing... how much did it cost to get all this done?

I cant help you in the NE but if you willing to travel I had mine done in Fort Worth and it was not overpriced and they changed everything. I cant stand the wine red they had so I changed even the pockets and side panels.

I paid almost 6k for my entire aircraft with Foam. My friend knows the owner and she cut me a little break I think but she re did all the foam and has burn cirts my entire aircraft took 2.5 weeks.

How and where you you get burn certificates, I assume for the fabric/leather/vinyl and the foam?

Yes it is for the interior fabric , foam, there are specific labs they send it off to.I would have to get with the interior shop to find out where.

FWIW, we had our seats redone at Airtex. They came out awesome. We ended up having to reweb all the seatbelts, which added to the cost significantly, but that was no fault of Airtex.

My friend re did his interior on his debonair and it was significantly more expensive using Airtex but it looks really really good took him a while to install everything but it’s a great product.
