North Central Arkansas Static/Transponder Check

Anyone know a cheap place to get a static/transponder check?

I just called Central (now Tac Air) in Little Rock and they want $550. The avionics shop in Batesville is out of business. What's Tomlinson's at Pine Bluff charge? Is there an avionics shop in Springfield or Joplin?

I am talking to Tomlinson's as well on some Aspen glass. I have found they are the cheapest around. They are MY avionics shop.

However, be advised, they are scheduling into September right now. Mostly ADSB and GPS installs.

There is a shop at Fayetteville. Can't think of the name for sure. I think that the managers name was Brady and the shop had the word "Wings" in the name but not sure. I also remember seeing advertisements for one in Hot Springs and have used one at Fort Smith.

I got a quote from them on ADSB...they were $2k over Tomlinson's. That was a no brainer. They must not have wanted my business.
