I'm just looking over the BUNNI2 arrival to LZU, and have a question. I'm sure there is a simple answer that I am overlooking (could proabably find somwhere in the AIM). If you were to become NORDO, in IMC, prior to Kadee intersection (ie. prior to receiving radar vectors to final), what is the proper procedure to proceed to LZU?

Assuming descending to VMC is not an option, that depends on your equipment and on which runway you figure to land. If the wind favors 25 (or you don't have either DME or GPS), you'll probably want (and they will probably expect you, based on winds and your filed equipment suffix) to fly the ILS 25 by going from KADEE direct PDK VOR and then via the published transition to GWNET, and finally the full approach as published. Otherwise, it's the VOR/DME or GPS 7 approach by going from KADEE to JOXUV IAF (direct, if GPS, or joining the PDK 341 radial, if VOR/DME) and then flying the approach as published. Neither the GPS-A nor the NDB or GPS 25 approaches make much sense in this situation.

That's what I was wondering...what ATC would expect. I have spent some time looking, and can't find anything concrete as far as Expect Vectors published on a plate. I suppose that if I was squawking 7600 they would keep a path clear and a pretty close eye on my next move. I suppose I would try to figure out, and fly, the most reasonable course.
