I'd say an owner assist with Jim might be a great idea! Learn your airplane from the inside out.
On second thought, I prefer to have a "new" owner go through a shop first to get a baseline for that owner as regards prior maintenance, ADs, what the shop found, what they did about it, and all that stuff. Then we have a basis for the both of us to know what was done to the owner's satisfaction.
I also agree that Lincoln Skyways is one of the best. They do pristine work.
