The county wants to sell to developers. Who no doubt essentially own the county commissioners. They’d love to add a few zeroes to the population there and cover it with concrete amd condos.

It’s a nice old fashioned airport,but money talks ,at one time they had gas but that’s gone.always a nice stop.

I was able to fly into this airport two times. It was great being able to rent bikes from the FBO and go into town for a delicious crab lunch. It was also a great fuel stop coming back from Key West. It would be sad to see this shut down.

I just landed there a few days ago, nice little airport. Would be sad to see I disappear.
