Rehashing old.. I did not see the thread on Kindle DX and I know a Nook was mentioned last October.

Is anyone actively using the Barnes and Noble "Nook" eReader with PDF Plates?

You thoughts?
Using Standard or Compact version?

I know nook is 1/2 the price of a Kindle DX, but is the display size worth the extra $$?

Thanx

I bought a Nook mostly to use for the pdfplates app but am disappointed in that the nook does no thave the ability to zoom in on PDFs. I contacted the B&N tech support people and confirmed it. As Ebook reader I really like it but for reading PDFs it is not the best tool

Without zoom, is it to small to use for 55yr old eyes? :mad2:

B&N let me bring in a microSD card with some files on it.
I tried PDFPLATES standard and compact size...

Too small and fine print for effective use in the cockpit.
