Non tower airport

I’m a deaf pilot and fly at uncontrolled airports. I always give myself an extra 500-1000 ft to overfly the airport to look at the windsock and general area of the airport. Fortunately, I speak very well (thanks to my parents sending me to years of speech therapy) and I announce my position and let the general area know that a deaf pilot is approaching the pattern. Before you ask how I know when to get on the radio, the garmin avionics has a green TX beacon or TX symbol that the radio is being transmitted.

Never had any issues flying anywhere.
