No Flying Today!

Sounded like our weather for the past two weeks...except the temps were in the negative numbers and winds a bit faster.

but alas, it is night, and I was just informed the airplane I usually fly for training (known as "my airplane") has been taken off the flightline INDEFINITELY for a refit. Just like that, no warning, no nothing, was calling the other day to cancel a lesson due to snow, and it was "Well, you know--"

So, no flying for me today, tomorrow, the next day, or ... GRRRR!

(anyone got a spare Skyhawk I can borrow?)

Too many things to do today getting ready for Christmas. Even if I'd had the time, the winds weren't much better at OLM. My wife and I agreed that the plane stayed in the hangar today (unless another club member was flying).

Maybe the week after Christmas. It's been almost 2 months since I've gotten any left seat time. Oh, the withdrawal pain!
