When the natives haven't stolen any more parts off of it, that tells you something. This is Nigeria...

The Prince of Nigeria is awaiting your assistance in recovering $47 million dollars worth of aircraft from his country for transport to the US.

I am amazed that there is anything left of these planes to dismantle!:dunno: I figured someone would start taking parts of anything that sits overnight in Nigeria?

I remember that in the late sixties, Nigerian Airways [or whatever it was called] bought a whole slew of F27s and F28s from Fokker when I worked there. The maintenance crews sent to the Fokker Service school for the F27 course for [Service Engineers] A&Ps had to repeat the course twice and barely made it. While hearsay, my friends in Sales and Marketing at the time were coming back with all kinds of stories , which are vague memories now[but it boiled down to attempts at unregulated financial doings on the part of Nigerian officials.]
