Line Up and Wait
As a new member I appreciated the invite to The Gastons event by a couple of the POA members, it would have been great fun to meet some of you and hope to be invited again to do that at another function. Almost nothing better than seeing neat airplanes & swapping great aviation stories over a cold beer!
The region six National Intercollegiate Flying Association contest started Monday and I am a volunteer. This is a great contest for young pilots wanting to make it their career and an event I enjoy supporting. One of the local television stations briefly covered it, see below link. Next years contest will be hosted by Kansas State University and held at the Salina Kansas airport. The teams in region six include a St Louis team, Parks Univ., Univesity of Central Missouri, Okla Univ., Okla State Univ., Southeastern Oklahoma, Univ. Nebr @ Omaha & Kansas State Univ.
