I wondered about the helmet, too ... not in context of the bikini but just what are you really protecting as you spear your body helmet-first into the dirt at mach 0.12? Makes it easier to gather up the pieces as you compact yourself into the brain bucket?

Helmets are to hold cameras. Funny but true. Gopros have increased helmet use among basejumpers.

Helmets are for protecting jumpers while they are falling , from other jumpers or the side of the plane .
