Nice soaring

some pictures from last friday on my drive to ames. was killer downwind dash soaring day. i was stuck on the ground.

a friend from minnesota flew deep into illinois for a 300 mile plus flight that day. she was behind me by the time i took the pictures. i saw her husband/crew pass me the other way on the highway

Sunday I stopped in at Stanton and caught a couple glider rides and a free barbecue. Conditions in the early afternoon weren't fabulous, but still pretty good.

ah thats great lance! i dont think it was worth a crap in iowa on sunday. i was scheduled to tow and no one came out to fly. you about ready to get back into glider flying?
