Or just turn it sideways? Looks like it's missing half it's cylinders. Proper planes, AND CARS have flat 4's (or 6's if you're a rich guy)

It s a French Nord 1203 ( F-BCXZ ) based on St Cyr L'école near Paris...

You know, I believe that is the same aircraft used by James Garner in "The Great Escape", when he and Donald Pleasence tried to escape to Switzerland. I always wondered what that was. Thanks Tom!

No, I believe the movie aircraft was a Bucker Bestmann.

After seeing the innards of a Renault I've sworn off anything both mechanical and French. Amazing none of their nuke plants hasn't melted down.

Does he use some of your spare Fairchild parts Tom?:wink2:

Actually Yes, he also has a ryan SCW that he needs a warner engine adaptor ring to fit the Warner 165 to the SCW.

So, our shop will make him one.

Yes, that could be it as well. It had a unique cowl and windscreen set up. Definitely not American. The movie was filmed in Germany, so that would make more sense, and be more authentic, although we know most movies are anything but authentic. Thanks Ron.
