Nice Letter to the Editor on Solberg

I fly into there all the time and always use their VOR to get home. (KSMQ). The blimps are a great landmark. Can't miss them!!
 
Haven't been up to Solberg in a while, I remember heading over there quite a few times when I was getting my private at TTN.
 
Never landed there, but use the VOR quite often. In fact, my hooded XC was mostly done by navigating to and from SBJ, Love seeing the blimp every now and then.
 
More taxes from housing developments than open space and farmland. The town wants to keep it as an airport until the new housing people complain of noise.
