Yep, we are. Joe's a fine young man -- a freshman at the U of Iowa, first year Army ROTC (wants to fly choppers, crazy lad) and a good pilot. Of course, he's a teenager -- 18 going on 30 this week, 18 going on 12 the next. 'Twas ever thus, no?
We still haven't seen the danged article. That's the ONE aviation magazine we don't subscribe to, and our local Barnes & Noble still has the October edition on the shelves for some reason. I've emailed the author of the article to see if they'll send me a copy -- to no avail.
The photographer took, like, 8 million photos. As long as he had Joe all posed, I took a few pictures of the photo session. You can see the results here:
