NFL Play Offs

I would like to see Denver win.....

Packers all the way.... A cheese head fan since I was a kid.

And didn't.

Pack has their hands full trying to stop #7.

It has to be miserable playing in 8 degree temps. Makes me remember the ice bowl.

Great game. Ravens kept fighting & earned the win. Ray Lewis lives to play another day.

Did I hear the announcer correctly? Manning was 0 for 2 in playoff OT games (before today)?

Fox was too conservative taking the ball out of Manning's hands at the end of regulation when a first down would have iced it.

Go Patriots!

Going to see the Patriots tomorrow. If they win, I get to go again next week. :)

I was trying to make it up there, but my brother in law sold my ticket while I was trying to convince myself it was worth a $450 airline ticket to go to the game. Oh well, the beer is cheaper, I'll be a lot warmer, and I can see the game better on my flat screen. Have fun!

They never did find the bloody white suit. I'm not saying he did it, but I think he's knows more than he said. It makes me sick with ESPN and others gushing about him since he announced is retirement.
Great player, no doubt. Done a lot of great things in his community since the murders for sure. I just think that they are giving him a pass by making it such a trivial footnote to his legacy.

I went to a game a few weeks ago, but left my ID in the car. I'm 51 years old with completely gray hair. They refused to sell me an $11 Guinness without an ID. Looks like I'm up $11.

Local TV waited for over 30 minutes for Von Miller to come out of just sitting on the locker room bench with his head hung down.

That guy played all game, every game, and never gave up. Too bad his teammates let him down.

Del Rio and Fox have a pretty fair share of the blame along with Manning's turnovers, the kicker not doing the one job he's hired for, Champ getting old and beat (haha, sorry, love Champ Bailey but he got his ass handed to him today, it may be time to hang it up), genuinely awful calls by the refs who's brains were probably fighting hypothermia, and... more.

Fox acted as if it was all normal to toss a game you're ahead in at home in the playoffs, and even said, "I've lost Super Bowls" with an attitude like it was no big deal.

Sadly, he's right. Number one seeded playoff teams going into today were 8 for 14 the last few years. Playoff games are always hard.

Anyway. Here's to Von Miller. Elvis Dumerville too. But especially Von. Guy left it all on the field.

Didn't Tebow win a playoff game for Denver last year? ;)

I'm heading down to the Georgia dome with my two boys to, hopefully, watch the Falcons win their first playoff game under Coach Smith!! I'm not a trash talking fan, I just want to see a WIN over Seattle!!:D
Predictions:
Atlanta 24 Seattle 21
New England 31 Houston 17
:dunno:

Well, the Packers are out so I'm done until the superbowl and the commercials. Now if the fog would lift I would get some flying in today.

On to Flyers hockey!

Birds are 2.5 pt fav but better hope they can contain Wilson or it will be a long day. He can wear a defense down to a nubbin. Pats should win.

Yeah, we gotta contain him, he's good, really good for a rookie! Hell, he's good for a 5 year guy! :yikes: Like all these games, mistakes and special teams can decide it.

I'll be watching it on my cousin's big flat screen. Meanwhile, her boss is a personal friend of Mr. Kraft and will probably be sitting in Mr. Kraft's private box with Robert and Robert's son. Cousin is a walking encyclopedia of football; also, professional hockey, knowing a lot of the Boston Bruins over the decades since her Boston University days.

Atlanta 20/ Seattle NOTHING at the half!!!:goofy::rofl::goofy::rofl::goofy:

Look like the Falcons are now trying to find a way to lose this one.

Well the Falcons will have found a way to lose another playoff game. When you get that big lead and then play not to win, you usually don't.

Okay, they pulled it out.

Still don't like how coaches with a big lead play not to win. :dunno:
