NewTV Reporter Was Navy Fighter Pilot

Well, news reporter is a bit of a step down from Naval Aviator. But, good job in the Navy and best of luck in your new career.

Not really related to the OP, but of the military students I had I can't think of any females who I would rate as bad students. My "poor females" would rank among the average males.
In addition I can't think of any female military pilots doing the stupid pilot tricks. They were more methodical and normally by the book. Males? Well, I'm living proof that God smiles on fools and lieutenants as I was both when given the keys to a multi-million dollar aircraft in a country with few regulations for military pilots (1. Don't fly into North Korea 2. Don't fly in P-73 3. Don't fly into the Korean president's TFR). When female pilots flew with us, however, we behaved.

Seems perfectly on-topic to me.

Speed and angels didn't make female jet pilots look good.

Interesting. Shepard behave yourself.

Following Ens. Cathy Echo up a ladder to the flight deck was one of the more memorable events of my naval career.
