New Wingtips on the Warrior

Successfully fit a new Knots 2U wingtip on the Warrior today. Now for the right side. Replacing the old Madras droopy wingtips with these. Very nice quality. Once we fit the other tip, onto the paint shop. Trying to determine if we need to sand the primer already on the tips before painting. Orange peel galore. Suggestions are always appreciated.

You’d want to sand them and if there are any blemishes use a filler primer before topcoat.
