It requires sunlight to work. Generally, icing is less of an issue in sunlight.
Yep. The inventor forgot about the "visible moisture" part of ice forming. Getting above the clouds also stops ice.Number of times I've had icing when sunlight was available. Zero.
Sprayed on = washed off when droplets hit leading edge at 120 mph.
In Alaska we would just spray Pam Original Canola cooking oil on the leading edges and call it good....
