The original "I don't know it all" of aviation.
As I move onward through the process of gaining my CFI credentials, I've noticed we don't have a specific spot for us PoA minions to discuss the various topics that pertain to being or becoming a flight instructor.

We do have "Flight Training", but that's a bit broad for what I am thinking of.

I'd like to see a "CFI Lounge" (or other quality/creative name) forum for us to discuss topics like
how to teach XXX topic to the student
what you should do to be a really good instructor
I'm in a rut teaching this lump of clay in the left seat.... how do I get through to him
CFI stories, "There I was, in the RH seat of a Cherokee and the student...."
I just got my credentials, what now?
Do I go with a local or regional school or remain independent
What do I need to know about the business aspects of being a CFI (aka income, taxes, expenses, etc)
and more.

The objective is bring in some organization so topics like this and similar are grouped into a sub forum that makes sense, versus scattered through Flight Following, Flight Training, Hangar Talk, etc.

I personally think (not the voice of the MC) that this is well served by the pilot training forum. Students would also benefit from these stories hearing the other side of the flight training equation.

I always immediately click on "new posts" when I arrive...

...so forums and sub forums are irrelevant.
