An excavator managed to dig up a 36" watermain in downtown Minneapolis resulting in several streets turning into rapidly flowing rivers. Several buildings experienced serious flooding including the Federal Reserve. A several block wide area is significantly affected.

They thought a maintenance man had drowned, so firefighters searched through chest-deep water in the basement of a building looking for him, but nothing turned up. Crazy.
