new program to use EBF with FS 2004

I found a program that lets me use the GPS data from FS 2004 on my EFB using chartcase. It's called WideFS and puts a server and client on each computer. You have to download a couple of other free programs if you use the network. I use it with a wireless network and it works fine. I can load realtime weather into FS and keep up loading weather from duats on the EFB. I can see real time the weather I look at on the EFB now. It really is nice to be able to move around in the EFB program without running into something (Like another plane). It will work with handheld units also if you want to play around with them.

Now all I have to do is get Vatsim up and running and you can call me Captain Dan.

Yup, WideFS is a really neat tool. IIRC, it's just an additional component to FSUIPC essentially (with a bit of a different mission that is).

It works great - you can also run many additional apps like ActiveSky on your second pc.
