For some reason (Chrome) when I try to select any of the "new posts" in the box on the right side of the screen, none of them are hyperlinks. This has been a recurring problem.

Any ideas?

I use Chrome and for me, the dark red "New" box is just telling me that I haven't read that particular post yet. The bigger, lighter "New Posts" at the bottom of the page is the link to all of the new posts.

If I hover over the blue, what should be hyperlinks, I don't pick them up as click-able links.

Agreed... I tried that in iExplorer and the links work, but I always use Chrome and it doesn't.

Not a feature I use/need so I'm sticking with Chrome.

What would you like to see more specifically?

When I screenshot, the mouse cursor goes away but when hovering over the hyperlinks it doesn't recognize them as hyperlinks and clicking does nothing.

Works for me (Chrome on Windows 10).

I'm not sure what "the box on the right side of the screen" is. And when I click on New Posts, the top of my screen does not look like yours. It looks like this...

For the last few weeks Chrome was messed up in that the New Posts box on the right side of the page were all dead links. Firefox seemed to work (though I don't use it normally), so I figured it was just a Chrome issue.
But starting today, the entire right part of the page has dropped down to the very end, just past the left part, and this is the same on Firefox too. The good news is that the hyperlinks on the New Posts are alive again (both Chrome and Firefox), though you have to scroll to the very bottom to get to them. I assume someone is working on this, but wanted to mention just in case.

No, he's talking about the main POA page. It's on the right side below the "Who's online" box...you'll have to scroll the window down to see it in most cases.

I've run into the same problems using Safari. The POA homepage hyperlinks are not able to be clicked. Using mobile Safari on the iPhone and it works just fine.

Hmm. I'm not sure I knew that new posts box existed there. lol

I did upgrade the forums and some styles today. Something probably got messed up somewhere. I'm going to upgrade the theme later tonight and see if that helps.

While you're at it, can you make it so we don't have to confirm that we want to mark all the posts read??

can you try it now?

The box is now top right for me again. The handle, who's on line box. Was all the way at the bottom of the page.

Cleared out and reloaded in Safari.
