Mr. Gustafson, are you planning on sharing your good news here with the pilot family, too, or just on Facebook?

(Yes, I'm ratting you out, my friend!)

According to PJ he brought his girlfriend down there and then went home with his fiance. I hope his girlfriend is not too mad ;)

Congrats PJ.

A lot of this getting married stuff happening here lately. Is flying getting that expensive that people are opting to get married instead of getting up in the sky???

Naah, they need two incomes to afford to fly. ;)

Come to the dark side Kent.

Its actually quite rewarding to be engaged. I only hope marriage is half as rewarding, and things are going to be just fine :)

And congratulations, PJ!

Yes, I'll share the news here too... thanks for ratting me out Troy and Scott!

Heather and I arrived here in New Orleans yesterday morning and shortly after arrival I dropped to one knee and popped the big question. Of course, she said yes! So, I came here with my girlfriend, but on Monday I'll be leaving with my fiancee! Now our weekend vacation can be a big weekend celebration!

Wow! Congratulations!!! :cheerswine:

I fail to see the good in this - unless of course she makes more $$ than you.

Oh, I'm not a Ted or an EdFred, I'll happily come to the "dark side" but I'm gonna be damn sure I've got the right woman first.

Huh? I was engaged once and probably will be again (maybe even ending in a marriage next time). Besides, I have nothing against being engaged or married, simply that last time it wasn't to the right woman. Pay attention, Twinkie boy!

More importantly: Congrats, PJ! :)

There's no need to hurry.

leah and i dated 3 years before getting engaged. dad and stepmom were around 4 years i think. uncle and aunt somewhere around 10 years. maybe you could say that we like to take our time. maybe you could say that the men in our family just are slow and ended up damn lucky someone waited so long.

I have been paying attention, you simply have said some things that led me to believe that you weren't going to get into that game again. :dunno: Glad to hear that you weren't "one and done." BTDT... :frown2:

Or we could say, "I bet the marriages in your family last a lot longer than average." Good game plan, I say!

Well, so far Tony and Leah have only been together close to 4 months. We'll see how many gliders she puts up with. ;)

Been on the dark side for 29 years...its great, but be prepared...and don't expect the significant other to ever get into the plane (my kids will fly, my wife..don't think so) If the fiancee/spouse does thats great! Oh and the two incomes helps, just try to keep ALL the expenses for the plane in a discreet manner (ie: don't ask don't tell)

And Congratulations PJ!!!!

Yeah, but that plane comes with a league of crochety old guys who believe it's a sin to take planes out of their hangars and (gasp!) actually fly them.

Any position that fits the following criteria:

1) I don't have to attend meetings
2) I don't have any responsibilities outside of meetings
3) I don't have to do anything inside or outside of meetings

There, that about covers it. :D

So president?

He who will not do somthing about the problem has no right to complain about the problem.

Who said I was complaining? I was giving Kent the full story. ;)

Heather and I have been dating for three years and three months before getting engaged - there's some wisdom in what you say. :)
