New Orleans sues the Army Corp of Engineers for $77B.

In my opinion, Nagin is a whiny-poo and I can't believe he was re-elected. I'm sorry for what those people have experienced after the flood, but it sure seems like a huge pity party compared to how the surrounding states handled things. Louisiana's Governor (Kathleen Blanco) is setting a good example... pull up your boostraps and get it done yourself, don't wait for the Feds to hand out a welfare check. Stop the whining and moping, already. Sheesh.

Why not sue the city of NOLA for allowing people to live in those flood prone areas in the first place?

Yeah, that's just frickin' stupid. It's about like suing yourself. It would be much more efficient for the various government agencies to just learn to work together and come up with solutions rather than sit around and use expen$ive legal proceedings to point fingers at each other.
