another forum to spend time in. Hey all just checking in with my first post. I dont know what to say other than I like airplanes, aviation and aviators. (oh and 70s motorcycles of the 2-stroke vintage)

I started with RC planes back in the early 70s, then glider flying out of Skysailing in Fremont CA in 76, followed by an $8/hr wet 7AC champ.

I spent 8 years in the USAF on F-4s in maintenance. I currently have an A&P with IA, and private SEL and glider.

I've owned and restored 3 Ercoupes, and now I own a DG-100 glider. It's my first cross country ship and its really easy to fly. Just did my first contest, wow what a learning curve.

anyway I'll be lurking and chatting with all of you.

I'm currently restoring a 72 Kawasaki H2 750

Welcome to POA. I took your first post out of moderation. It was there for the reason stated by Spike, um, I meant "Smooth Talker".
 
I would love to add Glider to my ticket.
I was fortunate enough to fly a Grob once like the one below.
That was a rush!
