I think that plane is local to me; or at least, it was!
Those definitely are nice looking birds. There’s a guy here that has one and all I see him do is take it out every now and then to burn holes in the sky and his FlightAware tracks concur. Seems too cost prohibitive to just use it for that purpose... Lol

I love the PA-46. If I had the cash, the M600 would be my choice. Has the range and speed to do a lot of the USA non-stop. Comfortable, can go long with just the wife and I, or carry less fuel and bring kids/friends.

This one is an early Contenintal powered one so it isn’t terribly inefficient. We just did some short loca hops. Pulled back at 2k Msl it was doing 145 kts on 13.5 gph. He said in the flight levels it will do 200kts on 13.5 gph
